HOW TO USE THIS PAGE

Upload, choose one data format, then match your columns

  1. 1Upload your file. Each row may be a survey summary or an individual turtle.
  2. 2Choose how life stage is recorded. Use counts, your existing stage labels, or straight carapace length.
  3. 3Match the menus to your spreadsheet headings. A blank menu means that field will not be used.
  4. 4Check “Current mapped output”. Confirm that the classified and excluded numbers make biological sense before continuing.
Count columnsEach row already contains adult and subadult totals for a year, site or survey.
Life-stage labelsEach row is a turtle with a label such as Adult, Subadult, Immature or Juvenile.
Carapace lengthEach row is a turtle with straight carapace length in millimetres. Sex is recommended; ID helps remove repeat captures.

Important: do not map curved carapace length to the SCL field. Convert centimetres to millimetres before uploading.
